[CONFIGURACIÓN DEL SISTEMA](https://help.rentlysoft.com/rentlysoft?hsLang=es#configuraci%C3%B3n-del-sistema) # Configurar un mail ## Instructivo para configurar un mail y que este envíe correos del sistema Antes de empezar a configurar el mail primero deben saber su host y puerto acorde al servicio de mail que tengan, el puerto tiene que ser 465 o 587 ya que los otros puertos son para recepción y para configurar el mail se necesita el de envío.    1\) Nos dirigimos a nuestro sistema, vamos a los 9 puntos de la esquina superior izquierda, luego nos dirigimos a "Configuración General" ![](https://help.rentlysoft.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-24-2026-07-53-59-5430-PM.png?width=670&height=263&name=image-png-Apr-24-2026-07-53-59-5430-PM.png) 2\) Luego nos dirigimos a "Configuración de Mail"  ![](https://help.rentlysoft.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-24-2026-07-57-23-7559-PM.png?width=1902&height=851&name=image-png-Apr-24-2026-07-57-23-7559-PM.png) 3\) Tendremos la siguiente pantalla la cual debe estar idéntica con excepción de **correo electrónico para envío** y **contraseña**. ![](https://help.rentlysoft.com/hs-fs/hubfs/12-png.png?width=1552&height=608&name=12-png.png) a-Enviar notificaciones de mail: **DEBE ESTAR ACTIVADO**. b-Host: **smtp.gmail.com** c-Puerto: **465  o  587** d-Habilitar SSL: **SslOnConnect** e-Usar Credenciales por defecto: **DEBE ESTAR DESACTIVADO** f-Correo electrónico para envío: **SE DEBE COLOCAR EL CORREO ELECTRÓNICO** g-Contraseña: **Aqui se debe colocar la contraseña  SIN ESPACIOS**.
