In order to have a car shown as AVAILABLE you will need to finalise the booking at the system. And by this, the car will be available for the next booking.

In case that a car does not figure as AVAILABLE when it should be, it would be necessary to check the following bookings:
- NO SHOW (when the client did not show up at the delivery date and time)
- PAST DUE (when the client did not return the car at the date and time he should have)
In both cases, it is important to let the system know when the car was delivered or returned. If you don't let the system know, the system will show you the booking as no show, or past due, when they really aren't.
For that reason, you should always check the status and finalise the bookings at the system, in order for them to be AVAILABLE.
PAST DUE BOOKINGS
These bookings could be due to the following situations:
The client truly has not returned the car in the date and time he should have and the booking is past due, due to the fact the return date is being extended.
The car was returned but it was not returned at the system.
To "return" it at the system, it is important to select the button "Make Return"
If the client has done the return in the date and time he should have, but you forgot to write it down in the system, the latter will let you modify the date of the return.
A message will pop up saying "Attention! The selected date is different from the booking date and may generate extra charges!"
Below you can fill in the fields the correct date and time in which the return was made.
Example: if the date of return was 1st of May and the client returned it on that date, but you forgot to write it down in the system, and today it is 5h of May, you will be able to modify the date in order to write down the correct one, being 1st of May. Avoiding the extra charges.
In case the client made the return later than expected, you should write it down in the system and on the right side it will show you the details of the extra charges.
It is important to mention that it you tick on the box, that would mean that charge will be voided. But if you leave it without checking the box, that would mean you will be charging that extra amount.
As you can see below, by checking the box, that amount is not added to the final amount to be paid.
Select "Make Return"
Once you selected "Make Return" the booking will be finalised and the car will figure as AVAILABLE and ready for the next booking.
BOOKINGS NO SHOW
It is important to remember to write down in the system whenever a no show booking is finalised. If not doing so, the car will not figure as AVAILABLE and you will not be able to make a new booking for that car.
Select the "no Show" button on the first row and the message "Do you want to cancel the booking as no show?" will appear and you should select "Yes" to finalise it and make it available for the next booking.
Once you clicked "Yes" the booking status now will be "Canceled" and the car is available.
In case you do not have permission to proceed with this transaction, inform your administrator so he can enable you the "Can edit bookings " permission.
