How to configure Services

To create a New Service, first you need to create a New Type of Service. For more information, click here:

Once you have the type of service created, you will be able to configure the Service and link it to the Type of Service.

In case you need to configure one Service, you can click on the quick access or directly from the lateral vertical menu.

For a quick access to Create a New Service, click on the Service Icon on the upper part of the Dashboard.

To configure a New Service from the lateral vertical menu: Select Maintenance Service > All Services and click on "New"



In both cases, you should complete the following information:



* Enter the Car to which the Service is assigned

*Indicate the Type of Service (previously created)

*Enter the amount of km/miles the car has while starting the service

*Select the Provider, in case of having one. ( It is needed for the provider to be previously created as a client)

*Indicate the dates of the Service

*Indicate the price of the Service

*Select the status of the Service, which can be:

- Programmed - meaning it already has a specific date and time
- In Progress - the service is in progress, so the car will be unavailable for bookings at that time
- Finalised - the service has ended
- Canceled - the service is cancelled.

* Indicate if it is Fixed. For more information about the Difference between a Fixed Service or a NonFixed Service, you can find information here:

*Indicate if the Service is Blocked to Edition. For more information about the Difference between Blocking Edition or not:

* Notes - you can add some notes in case of needing it.



In case of needing to configure multiple Services at the same time, you should follow the following steps:

1. Select Maintenance Services

2. Select "Service Type template" (the one on the left)
It will download an excel to be completed accordingly.

3. Complete the document.

* Indicate the Name of the Service
* Indicate the Description of the Service
* Indicate the Default Price of the service
* Indicate the average amount of hours the service takes
* Select the Type of Associated Expense

It is mandatory to fill in all the data from all the columns. It is important to mention that the last column " Type of Associated Expense" is to be completed with numbers. Which will be found at the "Types of Expenses" sheet.

4. Once it is completed, select "Service Type Template" (from the right) to upload the completed document.



In case you do not have permission to proceed with this transaction, inform your administrator so he can enable you the "Can administrate services" permissions
