Check if the Axle Insurance Verification Request for a reservation aligns with your car rental company’s requirements and view the details.
When you activate Axle and set your rental company’s requirements, the person who made the booking will receive an Insurance Verification Request. Once they respond, you can check on Rently to see if they meet the requirements or not.
To do that, go to Bookings in the sidebar and select All bookings. There, select the desired booking on the row.
In the client card, you will find the Insurance Policy Results. If you click on the shield icon with the i in the center, you will see the details.
You will see the insurance coverage for liability, validity after drop-off, driver information, and the deductible for collision coverage.
If the driver registered in the booking is not listed as covered by the insurance, it will be considered rejected.
The insureds will be automatically created as clients in Rently. You can verify this by clicking the arrow next to the insured's name.
In the last field, you will find the Policy Report document attached.
In the api_response.api link , you will find the information shared from Rently to Axle.
If you click the arrow next to the Coverage Detail field, you will see the client card.
There, you will find extra information like:
- Insurance company
- Insurance Policy
- Expiration Date
IMPORTANT: Axle is available only for users in the USA
