Edit a form | BuilderDuck

Customize the checkout, billing, or contact forms on your website with BuilderDuck.

To edit the forms of your webpage go to 'Pages' and select 'Form.'

There, you will find 3 pre-build forms:

  • Checkout

  • Billing

  • Contact

Click the 'Edit' icon to begin customizing any of these forms.

You can remove the current fields by clicking the bin icon.

💡Name, Last Name, and Email are mandatory fields and cannot be removed.

You can also add new fields. To do so, go to the 'Form Settings' sidebar and expand one of the dropdown categories:

  • Contact Fields

  • Custom Adress Field

  • Driver Fields

  • Button

Next, select the field you want to add and drag it into the 'Edit Form' section.

💡The fields that can be added are determined by RMS, ensuring information remains consistent across the system.

You also can drag and drop the fields to change the order.

Click the 'Edit' icon to customize the field. This will open the 'Edit' sidebar, where you can mark the field as required by enabling the switch in the 'Settings' section.

In Content section you can change the Field Name, add a Helper Text and/or add a Placeholder.

💡For multi-language pages, customize the content for each language by selecting the appropriate language flag from the dropdown menu.

You also can change the field size in the Size section.

When you finish the changes close the sidebar by pressing the X.

You have the option to update the page immediately by clicking the 'Update' button after making your modifications.

Open your webpage to view the changes.

If a tab is already open, you can just close it and open it again. Refreshing the page won’t update the change.
