# View security events

## With Rently, you can monitor when a user created or updated a payment, logged in, created an expense, viewed a card code, or entered a new credit card number.

[If you have the Rently security module activated](https://help.rentlysoft.com/en/activate-access-request-approval?hsLang=en), you can monitor all security events performed by your Rently users. To do this, go to **Security** in the sidebar and choose **Security Events**.

There, you will find a list of all security events, the date they occurred, which user performed them, the IP address, city, and country.

The listed events will include when a user:

- Logs in
- Creates an expense
- Creates a payment
- Updates a payment
- Views a credit card number
- Enters a new credit card number
