Before setting up the after hours configuration there needs to be an additional generated to assign to the after hours setting.

For more information on how to set up an additional click here.

Once the additional that we are going to attach to the charge for out of hours is generated, the next step is to go to the branch in which we want to configure this additional.

After navigating to the profile of the branch in which we want to assign the charge for out of hours, we select the "Modify schedule" option.

This will open a pop-up in which we will see the "Additional out of hours" section, to generate a new entry we click on the + symbol on the right.

In the next window we are going to select the additional that we want to attach to the charge for out of hours from the list that is displayed and shows all the available additionals.

The next step is to establish the period of minutes outside of business hours for which this additional will be automatically charged.

It is important to clarify that the configuration includes both the time since the service hours end as well as the period before the service hours begin. In the case of the example in the photo, the additional will be charged:

Mondays from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. / 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. / 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

And with this same methodology for the rest of the days.

It should be noted that the additional will also be added if the schedules are configured with a space in the middle of the day, as is usually done at noon in some cases.

Add more than one additional for out of hours

Once the out-of-hours charge is generated, it is possible to add multiple of these, with this functionality we have the option of charging different rates depending on what range of out-of-hours the vehicle was delivered.

In the example of the image, the additional "Out of Extra Hour" was loaded, which may have a higher value associated and would contemplate the next two hours before and after the additional "Out of Hour". So the example would charge:

Monday

  • from 5:00 to 7:00 hs - "Out of Hours Extra"

  • from 7:00 to 8:00 hs - "Out of Hours"

  • from 17:00 to 18:00 hs - "Out of Hours"

  • from 18:00 to 20:00 hs - "Out of Hours Extra"

Tuesday

  • from 6:00 to 8:00 hs - "Out of Hours Extra"

  • from 8:00 to 9:00 hs - "Out of Hours"

  • from 18:00 to 19:00 hs - "Out of Hours"

  • from 19:00 to 21:00 hs - "Out of Hours Extra"
