      How to get the hostname of OpenEdge/Global Payments terminals

      Get the hostname from your Genius merchant.

      1.Unlock platform to enter.

      2.The HOSTNAME will appear under the IP address:

      4. When entering NAME, what you must enter is the Merchant ID.

      5. Below you can see the corresponding instructions for the terminal:

      IMPORTANT: if the connection is via Wi-Fi and does not work, check with Genius if your service allows the "connection type" to be something other than Ethernet. Due to the number of transactions, Genius may require a wired connection.
